About the Author

Joy's mind is always filled with heroic characters based on news stories about regular people overcoming seemingly impossible obstacles.  While her talented children attend their music lessons, Joy cultivates her own artistic adventures through writing.  Along with being a multi-tasking parent,  Joy Davis is also a microbiology professor with a passion for training up future healthcare professionals. She currently lives in Maryland with her family and their saucy cat, Reeses.
